Everyone is chasing perfection. The perfect job. The perfect relationship. The perfect body. The list goes on. Not only is this mindset a trap, it nearly always leads to endless frustration and empty feelings of inadequacy.

What is perfect and who are we comparing ourselves to?

Paid Influencers on social media who are flaunting their beauty and successes? Be careful with that, because you don’t know what’s really beneath the facade.

Your flaws make you unique. What some may judge as a flaw, others will see as stunning beauty. Be sure to surround yourself with people that appreciate who you really are.

Kintsugi is the Japanese art of putting broken pottery pieces back together with gold. Built on the idea that in embracing flaws and imperfections, you can create an even stronger, more beautiful piece of art.

When you embrace your flaws and transform these into strengths you then become unbreakable. And others will see you as a person comfortable in their own skin and capable of expressing the best version of themselves.

Imperfect is just another way of saying, I’m perfect, flaws and all. And If you’ve got it— flaunt it.
