Many things can come to mind but these three things are absolutely critical:
1. Great salespeople are consistently good. Not once in a while but consistently. Because inconsistency erodes trust.
2. Great salespeople do the fundamentals well because they have a great process.
3. Great salespeople thrive under pressure. In fact, they will push themselves more than anyone else.
If you can embody these three attributes, you're well underway to being a great salesperson (especially if you also sprinkle in a bit of passion, hustle, and making people feel important).
